Skytop Road, Encino Weeds Garden Design Build LLC is proud to announce our on Skytop Road located in the Encino neighborhood. The Skytop Road is an example of our dedication to excellence in landscaping. The site is a large residential property that is located within the beautiful hills of the San Fernando Valley. The required a design that was both beautiful outside and matched the homeowner's design aesthetic. The design included a beautiful patio made of custom stone, which used locally sourced flagstone, that seamlessly transitions from the indoor living room to outdoor living space. The patio was surrounded by native plants that provided a pop of color and texture while utilizing low amounts of water, which is appropriate for California weather. A challenge to this was the steep slope of the site, which required us to design innovative retaining walls constructed with deep-rooted, recycled materials. The walls provided structure and also provided plant boxes - an additional layer of colorful succulents and ornamental grasses. We created a watering system that focused on minimizing water wastage while providing adequate irrigation to every plant species in the landscape. We selected drought tolerant plans that are well put together thoughtfully with placement and use enough color to attract attention through the seasons. The owner and their guests were impressed throughout the year. We designed ambient lighting to draw attention to the unique landscaping features and create a magical feeling for outdoor evening entertainment. Overall the responded to the homeowner's vision and style while maintaining a luxury outdoor space, functionality, and level of comfort. The clients were ecstatic their transformation, saying it had exceeded their expectations and that it had become their favorite place to retreat to.
