Creating a cozy gathering area for family and friends was the purpose of this and is located in the core of our service area: Berkley, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms and beyond. The main feature of this landscape enhancement is the custom-built fire pit made of natural stone with seating all-around. The warm ambiance of storytelling and evening s'mores will be cherished by many friends and family members. We also used locally sourced field stone to ensure that our stone meeting area matches the environment altogether. The seating area was additionally ambient with LED landscape lighting placed throughout for a soft glow of light that enhances the twilight time for families and friends to enjoy. Additionally, perennial gardens were installed that featured native plantsa mix that will attract local pollinators and provide color during all seasons! Flagstone lined the pathway to the fire pit area, providing a rustic feel without compromising the elegance of the cove. The presented a challenge with the sloped area needed for the gathering space. The presented erosion possibilities, which we addressed with grading and drainage. To enhance the aesthetic, we incorporated tiered planting beds into the slope, which simultaneously enhanced functionality. In the end, Mother Nature and comfort blended beautifully in this space; the met and exceeded the expectations of the client. You Had Me At S'mores! was transformed into a fun, cozy retreat for families to make memories and is a prime example of quality, craftsmanship and dedication by Four Seasons Garden Center & Custom Landscape. Whether the gathering is in the summer or the winter, this unique space sets the situation for joy and connectionan incredible addition to its community!
