The transformation commenced with an extensive consult that identified the client’s goals and stipulations. The site presented us with the challenge of slope which had been unappealing and difficult to maintain for an undefined period of time. Utilizing creative landscape design theories, we fashioned a series of terraced gardens out of natural stone from the local area. The end design provided stunning aesthetics and improved the utility of space by creating distinct levels for planting and seating. Our design enrichment consisted of native plant species that are well adapted to our climate. These included perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs which provided cold-weather, summer, and fall interest while preserving biodiversity. We included a flagstone corridor that traverses the garden allowing for a meander past plant beds and a water feature that creates a peaceful ambiance and sensory experience. Our skilled team faced challenges that included integrating existing mature trees. Our thoughtful design preserved mature trees while managing views and light access. Sustainable irrigation systems were included to operate efficiently to ensure an aesthetically pleasing landscape that does not use water irresponsibly. Ultimately, the 'Complete Transformation' exceeded our client's expectations. The culmination of aesthetics and functionality, the provided clients with an inviting outdoor space, retreat, and entertaining area.
