About This Project

Tiburon Woodland Haven Gary Torney Landscaping Co. is excited to think the 'Tiburon Woodland Haven', a spectacular landscape in the beautiful setting of Tiburon. This embodies our commitment to quality and craftsmanship by converting a once-overgrown backyard into a beautiful woodland refuge that fits in harmoniously with its context. By using locally harvested cobblestones, we allowed a winding path to be the center of the design to allow movement through the lush vegetation. We took care to include some of the native species, such as manzanita and California lilac, that help to create a sustainable landscape and habitat for the wildlife in the area. The bubbling water from the custom stone fountain creates a soothing quality, perfect for resting or meditating. Among the challenges in the were the existing sloping topography and insufficient drainage. Our crew was skilled in grading, and came up with and executed a complex grading plan to manage water flow and to create a stable base for everything we used in the landscape. Our team self-installed a watering system in place that uses much less water than traditional sprinklers. The outcome is a lovely marriage of nature and design where the clients can escape the stresses of daily life. The 'Tiburon Woodland Haven' exemplifies Gary Torney Landscaping Co.'s commitment to excellence in outdoor space. The clients are very satisfied and now have a secluded space that reflects their love of nature and provides additional beauty to their property. This has changed their outdoor experience and further substantiated our reputation as the premier landscape company in Marin County and even beyond!
