Red Rock Lake View By Stonepocket Unique Landscapes Located along the beautiful shores of Lake Minnetonka, 'Red Rock Lake View' is truly a jewel in the crown of Stonepocket Unique Landscapes beautiful artistry and craftsmanship. Serving, the communities of Bloomington, Carver, Chanhassen, and beyond, this took a previously elevated waterfront property and created a stunning outdoor space to embrace nature and add modern elegance. At the heart of the is an astonishing stone patio made from locally sourced red granite. The patio creates a warm and inviting space for gatherings, family gatherings, and outdoor meals. Furthermore, we built a unique fire pit with natural boulders surrounding it, perfect for cooler evenings and stargazing. The patio and fire pit are surrounded by a beautiful array of vibrant native plants, adding color and texture while supporting local bio-diversity. One of the unique problems we had to solve was the extreme slope down to the lake. Our team designed and constructed a tiered retaining wall system made from natural stone. The walls not only stabilized the slope from an engineering standpoint but also provided an attractive backdrop for the lush garden beds. The walls allowed us to create usable outdoor garden space while optimizing for safety and functionality. We also designed and built a beautiful wooden boardwalk that meanders through the garden, all the way down to a lakeside dock for ultimate access to this lovely property. The dock is now a beautiful extension of the yard and allows clients to paddleboard and kayak, or just enjoy colorful sunsets close to the water. We also designed a rain garden, capturing runoff from the hard surfaces on the property to be used to sustain plants and vegetation throughout the property. In the end 'Red Rock Lake View', landed as a stunning outdoor oasis, exceeding our client's expectations. It captures all the natural beauty of the area, while adding creativity and functionality. The landscape enhances property value while providing a serene sanctuary for family enjoyment and relaxation.
