Lanoha Nurseries, Backyard Retreat First up, we have the 'Backyard Retreat' , a stunning landscaping installation to create a place to unwind and entertain featuring at Lanoha Nurseries in the very center of Omaha. We began with a vision of blending luxury with nature, and through our seasoned team, we were able to fulfill that vision with this serving Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Valley, and Waterloo areas. The retreat includes a beautiful assortment of natural materials, like a locally sourced flagstone custom stone patio that fits right into the landscape. The patio opens up to a top of the line fire pit, providing a perfect backdrop for cozy starry nights, surrounded by luxurious seating areas ready for lively company. Using native plants took precedence and was imperative to a sustainable and low maintenance area. We carefully chose drought-tolerant plants including ornamental grasses and flowering perennials that will be pretty for every season and draw pollinators. A curvilinear course of natural river rock guides guests through the foliage, ramping up the walkability while also providing an interactive element in the form of a tactile, tactile experience. The irregular level of the backyard was one of the most serious problems we had, which we solved by adopting a tiered garden . This made the field interesting and visually appealing but also handled drainage effectively by allowing the water to seep through to prevent waterlogging and soil erosion. Include a small pond that has its own aquatic scenery and waterfalls to sooth your senses. The end product amazed our clients who have a retreat in their backyard that is an extension of their home.
