Koopman by Yavapai Landscaping Set in Prescott Valley, the 'Koopman' showcases Yavapai Landscaping's expertise in landscape design and installation. This extensive landscape renovation turned an everyday yard into a beautiful outdoor retreat that fits perfectly into the surrounding Arizona landscape. The began with a careful analysis of the site, which allowed our team to address the unique, local challenges of the landscape and climate. We navigated the issues of rocky soil and elevation of the landscape and, with creativity, developed the right solutions for drainage and soil settlement as needed. Our crew used quality materials that were both locally found stone and plants that are perfect for dry landscapes, all adding to sustainability and appropriate development of the surrounding area. The essential elements of the Koopman included a custom flagstone patio designed for entertaining, family and friends, as well as a well-crafted fire pit where warmth will be welcomed on cooler evenings. Containing color and texture were the perennial gardens we built into the landscape, while native shrubs and trees added diversity to attract wildlife and conserve water use. Additionally, we installed a sophisticated irrigation system to conserve and efficiently use water for the plants. Despite our design obstacles in the , we were able to create pathways that are attractive, functional and integrated accessibility of areas. As we completed the last items, we turned the vision to reality, and the clients were delighted with their new vivid and warm space that fits their lifestyle and values. Not only did their property flourish in beauty and aesthetic, but it was also a functional and eco-friendly outdoor space to enjoy for many years.
