Operational Description: Laman Residence by LUSH GreenScape Design Located in Canyon Lake, the Laman Residence highlights the skill and creativity of LUSH GreenScape Design's team of professionals. This complete landscaping was designed to enhance the existing beauty of the area while providing an area of respite and relaxation for the homeowners. We have faced the challenges of the uneven terrain and rocky terrain, creating opportunities to employ creative design skills to provide a cohesive and welcoming landscape. By implementing tiered garden beds stacked from multiple locally sourced limestone boulders, we created natural retaining walls that not only provided structural stability but also rustic beauty to the property. Each tiered planting zone was filled with native flowers, grasses, and drought-resistant succulents that would require minimum management, all selected from local native plant nurseries. A beautiful flagstone pathway weaves through the garden, leading to an outdoor living area designed specifically for the homeowners. The goal of this space was to create a space for gatherings around a large, built fire pit under the stars. We used a mixture of high-quality materials to match the surrounding environment, including locally reclaimed wood for seating areas and quality pavers for long-standing use. The end result is a stunning landscape that welcomes and reflects the Texas Hill Country environment. The Laman family shared how pleased they were with our attention to , and how we blended hardscaping and softscaping to create this specific destination space.
