About This Project

Mysliwiec Residence At LUSH GreenScape Design, we specialize in turning outdoor obstacles into landscapes that are breathtaking and align with their vision. The Mysliwiec Residence- nestled in beautiful New Braunfels, is an example of our commitment to excellence and innovation in landscaping. As with many s, we faced limitations such as site specifics, and the importance of sustainable practices. Our design team delivered a multi-tiered garden that connected well within the undulating topography of the site. To build the retaining walls and pathways we sourced stone locally to minimize distance transported while maximizing durability with an aesthetic element. In addition, to ensure low maintenance, native plants were selected for their species resilience, and low water requirements to support an eco-friendly environment which favoured the climate of Texas. A highlight and centrepiece of the Mysliwiec Residence was the custom built fire pit area, nestled with native shrubs and ornamental grasses creating a warm space for family and friends to gather. There was a beautiful water feature that sloped into a waterfall which spoke to a peaceful setting while atrracting natural wildlife to the property for additional layers to the ecosystem. Throughout the process of implementation, challenges arose with limited access for machinery, as well as retaining the existing mature trees. These challenges took innovatation to overcome, while severely limiting the intrusion of the landscape. At the end of it all, the Mysliwiec family experienced functionality with beauty, and delighted by their new outdoor living space, was in harmony with anchoring natural health in their terrain.
