About This Project

The Hidden Springs II project transformed a previously uninspiring outdoor space into a vibrant and inviting retreat that enhances its breathtaking surroundings. The original landscape featured a small, uninviting patio and simplistic planting beds that failed to capitalize on the incredible views. Our clients sought to create a more functional and aesthetically pleasing environment, prioritizing shade, larger sitting areas, and year-round col. To achieve this vision, we designed a stunning multilevel outdoor room anchored by an Alumawood shade structure, which not only provides essential relief from the sun but also adds a modern architectural element to the space. The upper level features a TimberTech deck made from Earthwood Plank in Teak, offering a rich, warm tone that contrasts beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lower level is comprised of Basalite’s Italian Renaissance pavers, creating a durable and stylish patio area perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Privacy was also a key consideration in the design, leading to the incorporation of a vertical see-through screen fence. This fence allows for unobstructed views while providing a sense of seclusion, striking the perfect balance between openness and intimacy. To further enhance the experience, we introduced a small flagstone sitting area surrounded by natural stone slab benches, encouraging both relaxation and conversation. Access to this inviting space is facilitated by a flagstone path, guiding guests seamlessly through the landscape. We carefully selected a diverse mix of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and bulbs to ensure vibrant colors and textures throughout the year, enriching the visual appeal of the outdoor environment. The outcome of the Hidden Springs II project is a beautifully integrated space that not only meets the functional needs of our clients but also enhances the natural beauty of the area, creating a serene oasis for family and friends to enjoy for years to come.
