Lake House Landscape Completed by: LandServe, LLC… “Landscapes for life!” Nestled among the peaceful backdrop of Lake Geneva, the 'Lake House Landscape' exemplifies the balance of nature meeting design, successfully designed by LandServe, LLC. Serving areas from Bohners Lake, to downtown Chicago our commitment to quality and creativity showed through this beautiful yard make-over. The involved a complete renovation of the property, featuring a wonderful combination of native plantings and hardscape that complement the lakefront setting. Using local stone, we constructed beautiful retaining walls and a walkable pathway that not only allow for easy access but also encourage guests to stroll among the lush back garden. Drought-tolerant perennials and seasonal annuals, picked by our team, provide year-round color while conserving water. Of course, a challenge of the was the steep hill that descended to the lakefront. We employed some creative, yet simple solutions to minimize erosion while making the area accessible. In the end, we terraced the sloped area for stabilization/vigor, which added another level of visual interest. Ultimately, the clients are able to enjoy their lake views from a natural stone fire pit area, surrounded by decorative boulders and seating, making it the perfect place for evening staircase bonfires with family and friends. In the end, the clients were amazed by how their yard was transformed into a calm and serene outdoor space that reflects their lifestyle and love for the outdoors. From the creative garden beds to the inviting outdoor living areas, the final product of the 'Lake House Landscape' demonstrates LandServe's commitment to fine craftsmanship and sustainable landscaping.
