Ivy, VA #1 by Sunny Pond LLC Set against a backdrop of beautiful landscape in Ivy, Virginia, the 'Ivy, VA #1' by Sunny Pond LLC demonstrates the emphasis we place on quality and craftsmanship in landscaping. This serves the dynamic communities of Albemarle County, Greene County, Charlottesville and around Harrisonburg. This was created for the purpose of transforming an outdoor space that was not being used into a beautiful garden retreat. This includes a landscape design that was carefully crafted to include native plants, hardscapes, and sustainable materials. We used a mixture of sandstone from the area for the walkways and patios, to provide a sturdy walking surface for durability as well as harmonizing with the surrounding nature. A fire pit was custom-built for the space, with surrounding benches made from reclaimed wood. It created a place for social gathering and offered warmth and connection. One of the hurdles we faced was negotiating the change in elevation along the property. We were able to build tiered garden beds that addressed the elevation change. They also served to add some visual interest while maximizing the sun exposure for the plants. We decided on a mixture of different perennials and evergreens in the landscape. These plants were especially resilient and were also selected for extra interest in different seasons. We were especially deliberate in our plant selections to create a landscape of interest throughout the whole year. Our clients were ecstatic at the end of the and are now able to enjoy a beautiful outdoor living space. The space represents their lifestyle, and in addition, takes advantage of a site that is at one with the outdoors. The outcome created a space for quiet, contemplative garden nooks or social gathering areas. 'Ivy, VA #1' embodies the passion Sunny Pond LLC has for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for our customers. Our work beautifies spaces, expands property value, and enriches the lives of those who interact with it.
