Transformation of the Hollywood Landscape by Jeremy Taylor Landscapes Situated in the center of Hollywood, this wonderful landscape by Jeremy Taylor Landscapes has changed outdoor luxury. The challenging task involved taking a small and cramped backyard and turning it into an outdoor paradise that showcases modern design combined with natural beauty. Using the highest quality materials, such as locally harvested stone for walking paths and hardy, environmentally-friendly pavers, we constructed an elegant hardscape that further complimented the surrounding architecture. In addition it also included a beautiful water feature with a waterfall and stream that created a calming backdrop and attracted the local wildlife. One of the challenges was working with the sloped site. Our professional team dealt with this by grading the land while ensuring drainage was accomplished, but maintained the overall aesthetic of the landscape. We created interest in the overall design by implementing a wide variety of native plants and flowers, including flowering succulents and flowering shrubs, not only thrive in the climate, but aren't demanding and require little care. The final result was a well-balanced connection between vibrant natural elements and elegant hardscaping that satisfied the client. The space serves as a beautiful venue for entertaining guests and wonderful quiet evenings under the night sky.
