Brentwood Rustic-Modern by Jeremy Taylor Landscapes Conveniently located in Brentwood, Los Angeles, the structure for 'Brentwood Rustic-Modern' design, execution, and outcome reflects a contemporary design style and modified rustic aesthetic by Jeremy Taylor Landscapes. This Landscape showed a functional and beautiful interaction of natural stone walkways, a variety of drought-tolerant native plants, and modern hardscapes; yielding an outdoor lifestyle in essence of Southern California. A highlight to the is the fire pit with seating, custom built, for starry nights under the sky. Also, the design team successfully integrated textured stone boulders and wood reclaimed furniture to highlight the rustic element, while keeping a modern minimalistic visual. Materials were selected with consideration, helped to ensure limiting environmental impact, and showcased the natural beauty. Local river rock and hardwoods reduce overall impact. Some challenges were raised with the slopes of the property and the management of pooling. Our landscape systems designer recommended grading and drainage to minimize erosion and pooling. Our invovative landscape architecture transformed the land angle slopes into terraced gardens to look appealing while maximizing plant growth and water retention. The final generated beautiful landscape that opened the indoor to an outdoor environment and abundance of greenery, and additional planned ground and pots flowering plants and calming water feature provided some of the local wildlife a home. The owners remarked positively toward the and enjoyed the new outdoor environment. Jeremy Taylor Landscapes was proud to execute a that elevated the property and improved the lifestyle to embody the Brentwood living ideal.
