As with all our s, we met on-site for a consultation to define the homeowner's expectations for their front yard. The previous condition was poor, with limited use, bare soil, and an overall lack of aesthetic appeal. Our team of professionals carefully designed a cohesive planting plan that would welcome visitors. The plan encompassed colorful flower beds, low-maintenance shrubs, and decorative stone edges to create an inviting experience for guests. Each flowering plant is native to the environment, which utilizes the climate to flourish and creates durability and minimal maintenance. Our design included daylilies that bring bright yellow blooms, multi-toned foliage near ferns, and other native plants that would flourish in the New Orleans humidity. Our team used quality soil amendments and mulch that promoted drainage and produced nutrients needed by the plants. One of the challenges faced in this was working on unlevel ground. Towards the end of the installation, our team leveled the area and built a terraced planting bed. The overall effect is beautiful, with layered planting beds that draw your eye within the space. Decorative gravel pathways were built to allow access to the plantings for maintenance. They also provide texture and character as a contrast to the green plants with their colors. The final product exceeded our estimates, developing the area into a colorful and pleasant setting outside the home. Aesthetically, the planting site adds activity and vibrance to the neighborhood and home. The planting beds and plants present have added to the curb appeal of the home, and they provide an inviting feel. Our client expressed how pleased they were overall by the entire and how the completed landscape represented their personality as well as enhancing their outdoor living.
