Tree Installation for Border and Privacy Screen by Prados Landscapes LLC Our team at Prados Landscapes LLC just wrapped up a fabulous landscape called "Tree Installation for Border and Privacy Screen" in the center of Greater Metro New Orleans. Our objective was to create a peaceful, private outdoor space for the clients in Arabi while improving the curb appeal of their property. The was a mixture of tree species hand-selected and planted based on their dense growth habit and their ability to provide privacy all year long. All of the trees were native to Louisiana for fast growth due to our climate, such as Leyland cypress and Eastern red cedar. After carefully selecting the species, a well-planned arrangement was done to determine an even distribution of trees for the best looking, lush green barrier. One challenge was the existing soil conditions that needed to be amended to help facilitate the newly planted trees grow healthy roots. One specialized and skilled Prados Landscapes landscaper planned a complete soil strategy, including adding organic compost to the existing soil, aided by adding a very well-balanced fertilizer. At the end of this step, all the parameters were set up the new trees to thrive. The implementation was bold, but proper tools were used to mitigate any issue with the depth of planting and spacing. Also, the locations were planed with a drip irrigation system to support watering with minimal maintenance. In the end, the result was terrific! The customers overflowing with joy had received their wish of their own private screen from everything surrounding them and at the same time improving the value and curb appeal of their property. They now had a beautiful green screen when family and friends visited to enjoy the warm outdoors.
