Situated on a challenging hillside, this exemplifies our commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design. This consists of a beautiful collaboration of natural stone terraces that flow into native plantings that accentuate the relationship between the built environment and the beautiful natural landscape. Lunds sourced our natural stone for the retaining walls and pathways from a basalt quarry in the area. This ensured the stone would be durable while providing a beautiful range of textures and colors. The steep grade of the backyard was one of the main challenges to building functional spaces where safety and accessibility were paramount. Our team provided tiered gardens for visual interest as well as positive drainage. One of the teaming features in the outdoor living area is a beautiful water feature that consists of an elegant koi pond. The koi pond serves as a beautiful focal point with a cascading waterfall that provides calming sounds of nature. Another aspect of maximizing the use of the space was to have multiple gathering areas, which include an outdoor kitchen and firepit for family and friends to enjoy entertaining together. We used quality materials, like weather-resisted cabinetry and premium stone grade countertops to provide longevity and beauty. The result is a breathtaking resort-style retreat that successfully blends luxury with nature. Our clients vision and idea were truly created with quality and care.
