This waterfront site encompasses the beautiful blend of nature and modern times in a style that fits precisely the owner’s vision. The site is completed with native plants, drought tolerant gardens and beautiful hardscaping accents. The feature to the site are plantings that accently the views of the peaceful bay, the smooth natural stone walkways that interject through the lush planting beds lead to the tastefully designed seating areas for relaxation and social gatherings. Local materials used give durability and beauty suited to the coastal setting. The highlights of the is the custom made fire pit which are fragrant plantings of beautiful flowers inviting the gatherings of the evening. There was also a complicated irrigation system that was installed to the to assist in the use of water for landscape which demonstrates MDZA’s commitment to preservation. There were problems that had to be solved during the course of the , the slope of the site, and to save the mature trees existing on the site. However, MDZA solved these problems with creative design and intelligent planning and accomplished the enhancement of this area without losing the natural beauty. The result is a fabulous outdoor environment that was completely satisfactory to the owner, more beautiful and are no doubt a wonderful asset to the working coastal environment of Newport Beach.
