Lookout Mtn Garden by Dream Gardens Landscape Design & Installation Hidden in the Lookout Mountain hills is Lookout Mtn Garden, a Dream Gardens Landscape Design & Installation . Our team were challenged with creating an outdoor space that is connected to the land while being both functional and beautiful for the breathtaking areas of Chattanooga, TN, Lookout Mountain, Ridgeside and Signal Mountain so the aptly d "Essential" team tackled a extremely steep and rocky property. We took our design cues from the start to add to the natural topography of the space and created around things that would work well in the local climate. We used stone from around the site to create gorgeous terraced flower beds to soften the harsh slope, as well as provide us with a workable space for bright blooms. Native plant selection, such as azaleas, ferns and ornamental grasses, includes the potential for sustainability and low maintenance while providing habitat for local wildlife. The property is sloped, and so a big challenge we had to deal with was making sure that we managed the drainage properly. We installed a full drainage system with permeable pavers and carefully positioned French drains to guide the water on a path through the garden so it flowed instead of wrung, eroded, or prevented any plants from being happy. A custom flagstone patio used for entertaining and for the breathtaking hillside views with a focal point of the Lookout Mtn Garden Complemented by artisan-crafted wood benches and a fire pit, this cozy space invites outdoor living all year round. When we finished the , the clients were so happy how their property looked like. The Lookout Mtn Garden beautifies their home and provides a space to connect with nature and gather with family and friends.
