Info: Ballard Patio Oasis by Orion Rockscapes Located in the beautiful Ballard neighborhood, the 'Ballard Patio Oasis' showcases Orion Rockscapes artistry at its best with a that marries beauty with functionality. This turned a small yard into a magical place for relaxing and dangling. At the heart of the oasis is a flagstone patio that boasts natural edges, painstakingly laid as it was for long-term durability, and an organic look that flowed well with the landscape. To enhance the patio, we added an elegantly designed fire pit, complemented with customized reclaimed wooden benches, luring families to gather around on starry nights. The addition of tiered planters filled with native plants and flowering perennials further enhanced privacy and provided beauty. In addition to providing some visual appeal, they also encourage local biodiversity and cut down maintenance requirement. Ignoring what was originally a bumpy site with potential drainage challenges that our team masterfully solved with a gentle grading process followed by infiltration, our work is solid for many years to come under the rainy conditions of the Pacific Northwest. The result is an exotic escapean indulgent lifestyle which mirrors the clients' freedom as well as their gardening hobby with the finishing touches of ambient lighting to illuminate and ignite the atmosphere, and an irrigation system to keep the garden alive and colourful throughout all yearly seasons. Our clients were over the moon with the results, calling their new home a "dream come true."
