Lemonwood Completed by: Austin Outdoor Design The West Lake Hills Lemonwood landscaping embodies the balance between nature and modern design that can be found in any of the beautiful residences found in these vibrant Austin neighborhoods. Austin Outdoor Design completed this , specifically designed to create a secluded escape from the home copulated with the identity of the region. Designed as a ratio of native to drought-tolerant plantings with detailed hardscapes. An eye-catching local limestone path runs through the property and winds around lush trees, and planting beds, providing passing tourists with a glimpse of an array of flowering lemon trees, ornamental grasses, and flower perennials. Among the main difficulties was the incline, and the designer had to be inventive in finding grading remedies that would maintain acceptable drainage opportunities as well as create a glamorous landscape. We kept most of the natural elegance but through this , our talented team would also introduce some retaining walls using natural stone for beauty and functionality. The outcome is the seamless continuation of the home into the landscape and layered a series of garden beds that encourage wandering. Austin Outdoor Design installed a custom drip irrigation system to keep waste water that commonly gets diverted away from the yard which falls in line with Austin Outdoor Design sustainability practices. This is further enhanced by the outdoor lighting that has been designed to highlight the garden and offer a beautiful space for when evening draws in. The family got to maximize the property’s curb appeal and create a space that is simply a refuge, allowing them to enjoy nature in every season with the Lemonwood . Austin Outdoor Design clients were happy to see a high quality of craftsmanship with attention to detail. This exemplifies our commitment to building tailored landscapes that improve the way people live in the Austin region.
