New Retaining Wall by MA Cleaning & Landscaping Design Inc. In our newest landscaping d, "New Retaining Wall," MA Cleaning & Landscaping Design Inc. was able to enhance a gorgeous sloped backyard in Bethesda into a unique and functional outdoor space using locally sourced natural stone. Before starting the , our team was able to visit the site to review the drainage issues and soil stability on the sloped backyard (which were problematic). Then we developed a site-specific plan of action. After the right plan was approved, we dug out a section for a foundation for our retaining wall. This retaining wall was tiered and maintained key support while also providing a layering effect for planting to create interest in the overall landscape. Along the wall, we planted native plants to bring motion and color into the landscape and support local biodiversity. The client was also very pleased by the way the wall integrated into the scenery for both form and function as a featured attractive element in their garden.
