About This Project

Belmont Master Plan Nilsen Landscape Design, LLC is thrilled to present our Belmont Master Plan, an exciting landscape that blends beauty and function. This design is located in the center of Belmont and started with the goal of building outdoor space designed to increase the natural beauty of the property. The began with a detailed analysis of the site, including the unique topography and existing plants. We took time to curate a richly diverse landscape composed of native plants, ornamental trees, and colorful flower beds that add visual interest to the and support local biodiversity. Additionally, we employed the use of natural stone walkways and sustainably sourced wood for raised veggie beds to enhance the period. A significant obstacle encountered during this was the uneven grade of the site that required creative grading solutions to provide a flat area for several outdoor spaces. Additionally, our team considered a thoughtful drainage design to prevent erosion and pooling, which can destroy the integrity of the space. The finished landscape transformation created a stunning outdoor oasis with a relaxing koi pond framed by naturally lush plantings, a sweet little patio for entertaining guests, and a veggie garden that supports the client’s goal of bringing local farm fresh to the kitchen. The elegant outdoor areas promote outdoor living, along with enhancing enjoyment of the property.
