About This Project

Golden Beach Residence Located on the beautiful Laguna Beach coastline, the 'Golden Beach Residence' demonstrates the skillfulness and creativity of LandFluent Landscape Architecture. This landscape uses cohesive landscaping and enhances the property's visual and functional potential. Our team was challenged to convert a sloped site into an engaging outdoor living space. We incorporated native drought-resistant plants and locally sourced and sustainable materials to enhance coastal as well as sustainability. Elegant stone pathways made of locally sourced flagstone guide guests through the lush garden beds of colorful succulents and ornamental grasses. A major water feature creates movement similar to ocean waves - a great centerpiece to the . The water feature creates a subtle sedating atmosphere and encourages sensory exploration and discovery. An outdoor lighting control system creates different landscapes from day to night that entices unwinding and gathering outdoors. To ensure an engaging outdoor living space we designed an expansive outdoor lounge area with custom-built seating and a fire pit to capture coastal evenings. Our team engaged the client at all levels of the work process from material selection to plant placement to ensure their vision for the was realized. The end result is a beautiful landscape that represents the environment while creating a seamless outdoor sanctuary for the homeowners.
