About This Project

Cambridge Master Plan Nilsen Landscape Design, LLC is excited to present the 'Cambridge Master Plan,' a renovation of a private residence in Cambridge, demonstrating our passion for quality and innovation. Serving the communities of Andover, Beverly, Boston, and beyond, the team was given the task to transform some outdoor spaces and integrate practical uses for the family. This master included an innovative approach to merging native plantings, resilient hardscaping, and sustainability. We utilized a selection of native perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs that would give the family four seasons of color while supporting the local biodiversity. A new irrigation system that utilized smart technology for efficient water use took weather issues into consideration for heated summer and freezing winter in Cambridge, improving the functionality. The team also designed lovely stone patios and walkways using locally sourced bluestone that provided a sustainable surface that connected to the property's lush surroundings. The also faced reworking the unmarked territory of tiered planting gardens with a custom wall to prevent erosion while creating additional planting space. Our result is more than a fortifying and mesmerizing landscape. Without question, our most influential point of interest is the water feature that becomes enjoyable for leisure while attracting local fauna. The Cambridge Master Plan not only improved the curb appeal but also provided the homeowners with a sustainable outdoor environment while maintaining their paradigms. Throughout the process, attention to detail and a commitment to the client's overall satisfaction guided Nilsen Landscape Design, LLC's process of creating a new landscape to live daily through quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and backyard experiences that keep our clients enamored of their new home.
