Brookside Blvd - West Hartford Donnellan & Sons Landscaping is thrilled to bring you the Brookside Blvd in West Hartford, Connecticut. This gorgeous transformation speaks volumes our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. All aspects of this large residential landscape were updated with aesthetics and function in mind- to create a "getaway" outdoor space for the homeowners. The consisted of the installation of a custom patio built with premium natural stone pavers to help the patio blend into its environment. Donnellan & Sons Landscaping has also provided a variety of native shrubs and perennial flowers that have low-maintenance durability and year-round splendor. A winding path was added and illuminated with solar lights for evening walking, creating a welcoming atmosphere. One of the main challenges to the job was the slope of the yard and the necessary grading and building of a retaining wall. With the garage nearby, locally sourced granite was selected to build a solid remedy that is visually appealing, holds the landscape in place, and adds a rustic touch to the landscape design. It is important to us that a landscape has proper drainage to avoid water moving the soil and vegetation, thus protecting the integrity of the landscape. The end result was open-air beauty! The homeowners were excited their new oasis, including an outdoor entertainment area with a gas fire pit and seating for family and friends. By uniting the hardscape and softscape components, a beautiful look and feel was created. Donnellan & Sons Landscaping takes pride in our attention to detail and commitment to the client.
