Colorful Formal by Harmony Design Group Harmony Design Group is excited to unveil the Colorful Formal landscaping , a beautiful transformation of elegance and color. The was created in the center of the community we serve, which includes Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Fanwood, Livingston, Madison, Maplewood, Millburn, Morristown, Mountainside, New Providence, Scotch Plains, South Orange, Summit, Westfield, Montclair, and points beyond. This began as a dream for a formal garden that masterfully merges structure with color, and provides a tranquil escape for our clients. Our design team carefully planned a selection of perennial flowers, thoughtfully integrating peonies, hydrangeas, and daylilies to ensure visual interest throughout the year. Throughout the flowers, we used bluestone pathways selected for quality and locally-sourced materials that flow through the garden and provide structural charm. One challenge was the slope of the landscape. To address the slope, we needed to carefully grade and install tiered flower beds that hold the soil in place and provide for accessibility. Our talented craftsman installed natural stone retaining walls that matched the aesthetic of the garden while giving a solid structure to the different layers of plant material. The final product is a stunning formal garden that engages the senses. With ornamental trees, a water feature, and seating, the garden evokes the feeling of enjoyable spirit. The attention to detail from the plants to the hardscape finishes provided an outdoor oasis that empathizes the client's personality and enhanced the overall charm of the neighborhood.
