About This Project

Buckhaven Pavilion Recently, the Buckhaven Pavilion from our Drake's 7 Dees Landscaping & Garden Center was transformed - a new definition of outdoor living in the heart of Oregon! Our team, serving various communities including Beaverton, Lake Oswego, and Tigard, combined expert craftsmanship with thoughtful design to develop a warm and practical outdoor space. The Buckhaven Pavilion has a stunning Cedar Wood Pergola, which is both durable and pleasing to the eye. To support the pavilion, we designed an extensive stone patio, laid with local flagstone that unites harmoniously with the landscape to provide a light yet durable surface for entertaining. The most complex issue we encountered was the site's challenging topography, which required experienced grading and drainage solutions to eliminate any area where standing water could collect, thus helping all the components planned to endure well over time. So, the boys put their landscaping to it, making a slight rise to direct rainwater away from under the pavilion, and at the same time this just added to the more robust landscape as well. We included a full mix of native plants and ornamentals grasses with seasonal interest to create more texture, color, and lower maintenance. The LED lighting, strategically positioned, enhances the pavilion and surrounding vegetation, inviting people in the evening to use this space. The end result was a balance of form and function that went above and beyond what our client pictured for the Buckhaven Pavilion . Not only is this massive outdoor oasis an amazing place for family gatherings, it also adds significant value to the property overall.
