Spring Bloom by Michael J. Dul & Associates, Inc. Situated at the address of Bloomfield Hills, the Spring Bloom is an example of the quality work and hands-on design experience of Michael J. Dul & Associates, Inc. From the start of the landscape process to the final reveal, the Spring Bloom presented the past beauty nature can provide to the yard while also creating an outdoor space the homeowner would love using daily. To start, we explored the site during an initial site consultation, where we examined the existing landscape and gauged how we could develop the site while providing a solution to the drainage problems impacting the backyard. Taking inspiration from quality materials, we designed an arrangement of native perennials, ornamental grasses, and annuals that would create a colorful tapestry and texture that would benefit from a Springtime wonderland. Some notable features of Spring Bloom include a custom stone pathway made of bluestone from a local quarry leading the visitor through the garden areas with gracefully raised beds made from reclaimed cedar, creating character and a sustainable approach to the garden. Despite challenges from hilly terrain and older existing tree roots, our team planned to grade and amend soil for plant integrity and health. In the end, the created a backyard escape that benefited the front curb appeal while creating an enjoyable space of relaxation for the homeowner and their family. They appreciated the of the garden, the balance of building design against the landscape and simply how happy they were created with the process of landscape design by Michael J. Dul & Associates, Inc. Spring Bloom demonstrates excellent craftsmanship and quality investment services throughout the greater Oakland County area that we are proud of as a company.
