Sugar Land - Riverpark Completed and managed by 50 Shades of Green, the Sugar Land - Riverpark epitomizes our passion for creating outdoor spaces that inspire us to relax and rejuvenate. The is located in the center of Sugar Land, and it seeks to blend the beauty and functionality of the existing landscape with the surrounding natural beauty. The design incorporates a sophisticated, simpler and modern approach of native and seasonal plants including textures and colors that are resilient and easy to maintain. The color palette of the flower beds were respectful of the idea of a 'modern' garden in and around paths of natural stone that create their own rustic interplay with the bold modern style. The slope and varied grade of the site created unique issues with the property drainage systems and the grading of the hardscaping, however, our team was extremely resourceful, creative and ultimately problem solvers. In keeping with sustainable ideals, a drip irrigation system ensures consistent watering for lush planting, which has luckily become a water conserving resource. Retaining walls of boulders from local sources ensured the structural and drainage systems, yet also aesthetically create terraced planting that promotes "exploration" and engaged citizenry. The most noteworthy feature of the Sugar Land - Riverpark landscape is the water feature that is a focal point of the physical experience, through acoustics and wildlife. The water feature has a series of seating options shaded by subtle and elegant pergolas or the flowers and plants that also line the pond; that could potentially serve one; family gathering or as a reprieve from an evening outdoors listening to a birds chirp. The end product produced was so delightful we left clients beaming after their 50 Shades of Green vision of site crafted with quality and detail, exceeded their expectations. We wrapped in beauty and function into the Sugar Land - Riverpark landscape. The Sugar Land - Riverpark is clearly an example of how we pride ourselves at 50 Shades of Green on how our work demonstrates our commitment to landscape; exceptional landscape.
