About This Project

Ornamental Erosion Control by E.L.I. Land Design, LLC The Ormamental Erosion Control is a unique transformation landscape awards winning finish by E.L.I.land Design, LLC in the heart of Conroe, Texas close to October 2023. This was implemented to help with erosion control but also set out to beautify the property and enhance the beauty of the property by marrying functional and aesthetic beauty. This collection of work included the installation of lush native plantings such as colorful perennials and beautiful drought resistant shrubs that provided soil stabilization and seasonal color. As a final touch to the design we also added decorative boulders and natural stone retaining walls, handcrafted to support the environment. Not only, these materials are durable but also blends with the local environment thus providing sustainability to the erosion problem. One of the biggest challenges of the was working with the steep slope, which had been heavily eroded in the past. Designing a terraced approach from the ground up is a living architecture where engineering meets art by ways of landscape. Our layer garden was made this way this easily redirect water but due to its layered effect, it provides some pretty visuals as well. The end product was a landscape both stunning to look at and tailored to the functionality required by the client, while also being a space to escape to. The decorative features, including the flowering plants and the stones strategically placed, helped to bring tranquility to the property and increase its elegance. With our focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to the elements of construction, we made sure that the client was absolutely satisfied with their new backyard. At E.L.I.
