We were called on to convert a big house into a dream patio designed to match the lifestyle and style of our clients. The included an array of native Texas plants selected for both their adaptability to the local climate and their aesthetic beauty, resulting in a sustainable landscape. We added different types of hardscaping, from custom stone walkways to a calm water feature that draws the eye and becomes the centerpiece within the garden. Natural flagstone and local granite were among the materials used to make sure they were durable and composed of elements compatible with the surrounding architecture. The hilly nature of the property was both a stunning feature but also a major hurdle that we had to get creative with in terms of grading and retaining walls to get any real usable space outdoors. We provided design expertise in shaping tiered gardens and spaces that also act as seating for both functionality and aesthetics. The end result is a stunning outdoor space perfect for soaking up the sun and hosting guests, with colorful flower beds, surrounding greenery, and ambient landscape lighting to make it all come alive after dark. Our clients were ecstatic with the results - complimenting our attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Not only did the Villa Court beautify their home but it also created a peaceful retreat that ties seamlessly with nature.
