Branford Shoreline Retreat POPEL Landscaping and Design, LLC is pleased to introduce the 'Branford Shoreline Retreat', a breathtaking renovation of a waterfront landscape that reflects our commitment to quality and creativity in landscaping. Serving the work of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Cheshire, Derby, Hamden, Milford, New Haven, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, Waterbury, Woodbridge, and Branford, we were excited to take on the challenge of enhancing this waterfront facility while maintaining the beauty of the site. The began with an overall site analysis of the special character of the coastal environment. Our staff addressed site-specific issues such as erosion control and salt tolerance and selected durable, native plants that would naturally thrive. We utilized a variety of materials including locally-sourced stone to create a beautiful, durable retaining wall that served its purpose and complemented the landscape. A custom-designed patio from high-quality patio pavers for a comfortable gathering place was located conveniently right outside the door to invite guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the water. The custom patio was surrounded by ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and shrubs that bloomed during the growing seasons to add color and texture. To connect with the property's unique access, we developed meandering paths to guide guests through lush gardens with the inclusion of natural boulders and decorative gravel on the trail for a rustic atmosphere. Our detail-oriented team spent a lot of time considering design that focused on ambiance, in every aspect of the such as lighting and water components. The end result was a brilliant combination of functional and aesthetic quality. The completion of the Branford Shoreline transformed the waterfront into a peaceful retreat and our clients are exceptionally happy with the finished product.
