### Bennett Residence We are pleased to present the Bennett Residence, a landscape renovation that elevates this magnificent property while highlighting its natural beauty. Located in the beautiful town of Marysville, the design composes lush verdure and modern aesthetics to develop a calming sanctuary for the homeowners. The provided a thoughtful layout that includes an inviting entry-expressing garden, a still water feature, and different plantings that highlight the landscape's indigenous plant life. We selected indigenous plants such as ferns, salal, and Pacific rhododendron, which have the added benefits of being lower maintenance and environmentally conscientious components, further connecting the residence to its surroundings. The use of permeable pavers for the pathways adds an intentional design element while addressing potential problems due to runoff, an issue that contributes nuisance in the area. One of the main issues of the was equalizing an uneven grading condition; the landscape also had to articulate a holistic design that would seem cohesive to the longer view of the property. We developed terraced gardens to provide depth to the gardens and sites for planting and rest opportunities. Custom seating sites were built from locally sourced cedar for families to congregate, while large stones created an additional rustic charm to blend with the overall experience. The final result is an incredible landscape that the Bennett family enjoys while enhancing the quality of the residence's curb appeal.
