Summary: Sodhi's Summer Ready Patio The Garden District is thrilled to enhance outdoor living spaces for our clients' enjoyment. The 'Sodhi's Summer Ready Patio' captures all of our efforts of creativity and craftsmanship for the busy and engaging communities of South Florida in Kendall, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach. The began with listening to the client how they wanted their outdoor area to look and function for summer events. The existing patio was outdated and underused. The conditions were also challenging indoors for the clients and their guests with uneven ground and poor shade. Our skilled landscape team leveled the ground as closely as possible to the desired patio elevation, a durable paver system of high-quality, weatherproof material was used for longevity and low maintenance. The design features elegant seating areas with a dynamic bench setup around a fire pit that will create the focal point for evening gatherings. Lush tropical plants were added, like the stunning hibiscus and fragrant jasmine, which offer colorful aesthetics and natural privacy. The open landscape will serve as shaded areas of entertaining guests with a wood western pergola made from sustainable materials. One of the concerns integrating the patio would be retaining the existing landscape while providing proper drainage. Our team created an understated engineering solution that provides drainage and preserves the beauty of the landscape plants in the surrounding area. The conclusion is to have an extraordinary outdoor space that achieves a unique combination of function and beauty. The Sodhi family will now enjoy their summer evenings in a comfortable and vibrant setting suitable for entertaining.
