Pool Party by GLC Lawn & Landscaping LLC GLC Lawn & Landscaping LLC recently had the opportunity to turn an ordinary backyard into an extraordinary oasis with our 'Pool Party' in the exciting town of Belleville and surrounding areas. Our mission was to reimagine a beautiful landscape that not only enhanced the look of their new swimming pool but also created an inviting destination for family and friends to gather and celebrate. To begin, our team performed an analysis of the property to create a site-oriented layout plan. We selected high-quality hardscaping materials for the and installed lovely natural stone pavers around the pool area, giving the space a slip resistance and beauty. We also installed a custom-built wooden pergola for the ultimate in shade and style, which made the most perfect setting for summer barbeques and pool parties. One of the obstacles we faced was the slope of the property, so we had to come up with solutions to effectively manage drainage and create stability. We created a tiered landscape that incorporated a retaining wall made from durable timber. This allowed us to work with the natural slope of the land and manage water flowing across the lawn, while also adding functional and visual interest to the tiered design. We softened the hardscaping and brought in some greenery, through various selected plants from big flowering perennial plants to low-maintenance ornamental grasses. Each plant was selected for their hardiness and seasonal variations. Ambient lighting also highlighted some of our landscape work and created a warm inviting feel for evening gatherings. The end result was the most beautiful landscape pool area that enhanced the value of the client’s property as well as an invitation to escape for a much-needed relaxation. The clients were immensely pleased with the landscape and told us they appreciated the balance between function and beauty with their backyard becoming the hot spot for summer enjoyment.
