Pools by Nature One Landscape Design Introducing the 'Pools' , our latest transformation bringing outdoor living to another level to our Alabaster, Birmingham & surrounding area's clients Nature One Landscape Design. In actuality, this was fully landscaping with the addition of a pool blending water features into the landscape with greenery and outdoor living spaces. Step 1: Analyze This site with its beautiful, varied elevation posed some challenges, including existing drainage issues. We designed an innovative grading approach to manage water correctly while achieving a continuous and harmonious flow in the landscape. Focusing on sustainable practices we chose plants that are native to our area that use little water and promote biodiversity. The pool is surrounded by natural stone coping and it is also tiled inside, giving the space an expensive yet cozy look. This is surrounded by a lush matrix of perennials, ornamental grasses, and trees that soften the space by creating privacy and a tranquil backdrop. They created custom seating areas and fire pits to make the space more functional for entertaining or sitting outside alone in the evening. The result: a stunning oasis that surprised the client! All while providing durability and aesthetics through careful selection of materials and attention to detail. Not only did the increase their property value, but it also turned the backyard into a coveted but private getaway to enjoy the sounds of water and elements of nature.
