West Seattle Modern Makeover from Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC Located in the heart of West Seattle, the 'West Seattle Modern Makeover' showcases Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC's focus on quality and design. The entailed a total remodel of a tired backyard into a modern outdoor oasis in alignment with the architecture of the home. The design includes modern lines and nature-inspired materials, including a concrete patio with Ipe wood decking to create an ideal entertaining and relaxing space. The custom-built wood fire pit with modern seating creates focal points for enjoying starry nights. Ornamental grasses, succulents, and native flowers offer sustainable color and texture to the design aesthetic. One notable challenge included a sloped backyard. To address the slope, we implemented grading and drainage solutions that ensured proper watering for plantings. Our qualified tradesmen devised a drainage system that allowed for both beauty and function while eliminating issues of soil erosion and puddling. The use of boulders from a local boulder yard for drying stone retaining walls provided not only a naturally functional solution, but also a material that visually aligned with the overall design. The final product created an elegant outdoor space reflective of the client's modern design beliefs and aligned with environmental consideration. The finished work exceeded the client's vision and showcases Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC's expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. This transformation in West Seattle has become an elegantly attractive space for family gathering, as well as a peaceful escape from busyness of city life.
