Cartwright Road Landscaping Completed by: Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC Service Area: Stoneham Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC completed the Cartwright Road landscaping that became a stunning blend of art and function. The took place in Stoneham, transforming an ordinary outdoor space into a beautiful oasis that manifested the client's vision and increased curb appeal. The was comprised of a thoughtful layout with native plants that secured sustainability and low-maintenance landscapes. A colorful palette of perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs were specifically chosen to create seasonal color. Additionally, boulders and decorative crushed stone were used to create a natural, organic feel to the landscape. One of the 's challenges was the topography that required a creative grading and the establishment of a smooth flow. Our team took the challenge into consideration and graded the area that allowed for a beautiful, multi-tiered flower bed to attract and invite interest. Further, we installed an irrigation system that was custom-designed with water conservation in mind in order to sustain and elevate plant health and longevity in the local climate. The transformation also included a quaint stone patio that could be used for enjoyment or relaxing time while entertaining friends & family, that was constructed from locally sourced bluestone that complemented the outdoor environment. The outdoor living space had lush plantings surrounding the area that created privacy and a space to escape into a tropical oasis while remaining engaged with nature's beauty. The client was thrilled with the outcome of the landscape design and construction and was most pleased with the aesthetics and low-maintenance aspects of the type of landscaping.
