North Dallas Contemporary Star of Texas Landscape is proud to unveil the 'North Dallas Contemporary' , an inspiring transformation of a modern landscape experience that embraces both its modern architecture and harmonious connection to the nature surrounding it. Located in the North Dallas area in the middle of the city, it serves as a true example of quality and unique landscape design. Our team was confronted with a sloped site and the challenges associated with dealing with the drainage sounds and effective stylishness of the properties siting, but we found creative solutions and created a fun yet inviting layout. Locally quarried stone was used to create tiered garden beds that function separately while feeling like they all belong to the same contoured and modern landscape. We worked with the client to ultimately use a variety of native Texas plants in the landscape to achieve the concepts of sustainable design and minimize what would regular maintenance. Key features of the include a sleek modern patio composed of sustainable finite composite decking, delivered as an area for clients to entertain outdoors, giving them more opportunities to enjoy their children's growth outside. Small flower beds framed each of the living areas with big colors. Specially designed artisan seating frames a custom firepit large enough for four or five guest seats. The firepit also serves a great purpose as another sunken area for outdoor living in the evening hours. The completed quickly became a showcase of light and dark partnering with lighting highlighting the gardens after sunset. The final version of the illustrated an exciting marriage of contemporary forms and materials with nature. Our clients were thrilled with their new zen outdoor escape that also made a huge statement back to the front street.
