Canyon Creek: A Landscape Renovation by Star of Texas Landscape The first we want to showcase is Canyon Creek, a beautiful renovation in the picturesque Frisco, Texas. This extensive landscape demonstrates our dedication to quality, creativity, and attention to detail. We serve clients throughout Allen, Anna, Celina, Fairview, Lowry Crossing, McKinney, Melissa, New Hope, Plano, Prosper, Weston, North Dallas, Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Little Elm and beyond. Canyon Creek began with a vision of providing a serene getaway that would blend with the natural surroundings. Our team planned a colorful, multi-layered landscape using Wisconsin-roots native Texas plants, well suited for the local climate, to keep the aspect of sustainability and limited water consumption in mind. We added a winding flagstone path for exploration and rustic appeal. Our main challenge for this was the slope of the yard, which required grading and drainage. Our team installed a French drain with grading to prevent erosion and to keep the landscape looking its best, while allowing the landscape to thrive, even under rain and heavy storms. The focal point of Canyon Creek is a custom natural pond with a gentle waterfall to enhance the peaceful ambiance. We surrounded the pond with colorful perennials, e.g., Lantana, and ornamental grasses that continuously bloom from season to season for plenty of color and texture. We also created intimate seating areas from reclaimed wood so the owner could have family gatherings and peaceful moments with nature. When the was complete, we delivered a jaw-dropping landscape cohesion to their vision. This showcases Star of Texas Landscape's commitment to high-quality work, where every stone, plant, and element was woven together to create a beautiful escape. Our client was ecstatic this renovation and reconnected with their outdoor space while giving us a chance to create their dreams.
