Lighting | New England Landscapes, Inc. 'Lighting' by New England Landscapes, Inc. A spectacular 'dark to glorious vain' transformation of beautifully illuminated outdoor spaces at a private residence located in Cape Elizabeth The purpose of this was to beautify the landscape while making it more safe and functional in the evenings as well. We carefully implemented several types of lighting such as LED path lights and uplight for mature trees as well as lights to accentuate some of the garden features. We selected well-made, energy-efficient fixtures that harmonize with the natural landscape and resist the coastal Maine weather. Avoiding a patchwork of colors or styles for some materials was also a priority so they chose things that made sense with the various hardscapes and plantings surrounding the pool area and row of animal enclosures. The layout had to carefully route around an existing irrigation system and many buried utilities, which drove one of our major challenges. This is a classic case of a job in a sensitive environment and our talented crew spent their time plotting where to place lights in advance to ensure no disruption of activity was caused, which goes to show our excellent precision and care in the direction we're taking the company since year three of setting up. Well the end result is simply stunning. At dusk the property glows with soft light accents along walkways and vivid landscapes to create an enchanted getaway. Our client was beyond pleased that the new lighting increased not only the beauty of their home, but offered a well-lit space for safe evening gatherings with friends and family.
