Landscaping design for the entire property in southeast Boise Completed by: Boise Landscape Design Located within the heart of Southeast Boise, this integrated landscape design brought dramatic updates to this vast property to create a stunning outdoor living space. Boise Landscape Design is known for quality and attention to detail, and this was one such . This landscape design matched the vision of the client along with the specific challenges that site presented, such as elevation changes and sunny vs shady conditions. Blending multiple different ways of laying out the plants, our team selected native and drought-tolerant plants that flourish in the Boise climate. We chose bright flowering perennials, ornamental grasses and mature trees so the garden looks great all year and requires very little maintenance. The design included meandering stone pathways using gorgeous granite mined from the area, which led through compact flower beds and seating alcoves. Made of cedar, the custom-built pergola creates a shaded retreat amidst nature. An irrigation system was also used to help the landscape with low impact methods of irrigation while ensuring a lush and colorful experience. The ground was not level and drainage was present which complicated the entire . Our gifted team met these challenges with creative solutions, including a rain garden that enhanced drainage, while also providing a colorful plant focus of water loving plants. The result was a beautiful mix of form, and function, which pleased our client. The property with sprawling lawns, lush gardens and peaceful spaces to congregate now serves as an oasis for family and friends.
