Baja Modern Performed by Bell Panorama Architecture Inc., the Baja Modern demonstrates the ongoing synthesis of recent design and tropical grace to the wet scenery of California and the Caribbean. This standout outdoor living space was custom designed to harmonize with the surrounding natural setting using a contemporary palette of finishes. A luscious spectruman of native and drought-tolerant plants thrives in the tropical setting which highlight the . Visitors are guided along beautiful pathways of natural stone sourced responsibly and aligned with curated gardens of diverse textures and colors. In keeping with the Baja Modern way, the team incorporated materials that will stand the test of time while putting as little impact on the planet as possible, like repurposed wood for the decking and custom made seating areas. Overcoming the site's unusual topography was one of the more significant challenges of the . Our Bell Landscape Architecture team applied creative grading innovations to both beautify and drainreprotecting the landscape against torrential rains. Moreover, the addition of a peaceful water feature provided an oasis, where locals could enjoy some wildlife and some zen. The finished product is a gorgeous alfresco space that combines indoor and outdoor living, which the client adores not just for its scale but also the simple modern elegance fused with natural beauty.
