About This Project

Annex by KGK Gardening & Design Corp Located in the scenic setting of Bath, Ohio, the Annex become a true outdoor living space for our client. The is an entire renovation of the landscaping that fits both the natural surroundings and modern design components for our client's lifestyle. The work began with a careful analysis of the site to determien where the challenges lie that included, but not limited to, sloppiness of the terrain and the inability to access sun. We solve these issues by designing tiered landscapes, using natural stone quarried nearby in Ohio to build retaining walls, allowing us to create stability while also add aesthetic appeal. Highlights of the Annex is a gorgeous patio that is made of select blue stone pavers; perfect for entertaining guests. The patio itself leads towards a robust foliage garden that blended native perennials with ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs that create year-round color and texture. A fire pit made from the same Beckman stone with a full circular seating area is an engaging space to share with friends and family. Sustainability was also an important feature for the property which led us to provide a full irrigation plan. This plan ensures the happy healthy growth of the plants while using as little water as needed. The work we completed here at the Annex resulted in an ultimately stunning landscape that achieved the vision by the client and left an appearance that enhanced beyond expectation. The Annex was another example of KGK Gardening and Design Corp's commitment to quality, craft and satisfaction of the client; leaving an impression of all who were present.
