Midwest Courtyard by KGK Gardening & Design Corp Located in Northeast Ohio, the Midwest Courtyard fully exemplifies the beauty, artistry, and craftsmanship that KGK Gardening & Design Corp has built its reputation on. We service a variety of clients and locations in Akron, Chagrin Falls, Bath, and further. We successfully transformed an unused backyard into a lovely outdoor space. The design embodies the beauty of native plants, stone pathways with texture, and water features that highlight the natural surroundings. We selected reliable materials, such as locally sourced Ohio bluestone and reclaimed brick for their character and ability to withstand various elements. The inviting layout includes a fire pit at the center with a custom seat wall that invites guests, while the best of planting beds adds seasonal color and lushness to the background. Along the way, we overcame obstacles such as poor site conditions from topography, and insufficient sunlight. However, we were accommodated at every step with a cleverly arranged tiered planting scheme that responded visually and improved sunlight conditions. Overall, the design was thoroughly considered and provided aesthetic beauty while being fully functional. Upon completion, our satisfied client expressed joy at the combination of design and functionality to enhance their outdoors, creating their own oasis.
