Info: Mountain Overlook by Flora Distinctive Landscapes The 'Mountain Overlook' from Flora Distinctive Landscapes reimagines outdoor living in the stunning beauty of the Rockies. We created this for the slopes of Colorado in the beautiful town of Granby and it showcases our materials as well as our nature of being a Colorado-based company. It started with an extensive site evaluation to get a sense of the physical environment in relation to the features. The layout also had to work within the incredibly uneven terrain of the land, which proved to be no easy challenge for our team but with a bit of innovation we managed to make a harmony within each of the fazes. Incorporating local stone and native plants, we created a beautiful multi-level garden that compliments the surrounding land. Flagstone pathways are glittering jewels of beauty that afford anyone who lives on the property, exceptional ease of access. The garden covers several acres and is filled with many drought-resistant perennials, wildflowers and ornamental grasses that bloom with seasonal vibrance, guaranteeing that 'Mountain Overlook' continually changes character through the years. Sustainable practices were highlighted with a rain garden to handle runoff and support local wildlife. You will LOVE the huge patio area, made from reclaimed wood and natural stone for entertaining and relaxing while taking in mountain views. Inspiring warmth, with covered seating areas and fire pits to gather around, it is equal parts family and friends sanctuary. The customer was thrilled once the job was complete with their new garden!
