Mountain Farmhouse by Flora Distinctive Landscapes Tucked away in the beautiful landscape of Colorado, the ‘Mountain Farmhouse’ development by Flora Distinctive Landscapes embraces a seamless blend of rustic and refined. Our work is focused on creating outdoor living solutions that complement the natural aesthetics of the surrounding mountains while showcasing the unique architecture of this farmhouse all within the Kremmling to Aspen community area. Native stone hardscaping, woven pathways and inviting patios that expand your outdoor living! We used local materials like river rock and old wood to blend with the environment and withstand the ever-changing weather in this part of the world. Utilizing our teams extensive experience our landscape professionals adapted to a steeply sloped section of the property and introduced a series of terraced gardens which complement the design, prevent soil erosion, and promote biodiversity. The landscaping features vigorous flowering perennials and ornamental grasses for continuous color and texture, with evergreen trees for privacy and wind buffer, located to the west, north, and east of the property. A custom water feature, designed to look like a natural mountain stream, provides soft sounds, local wildlife, and a feeling of relaxation. It has resulted in a beautiful landscape that pleases the client and harmonizes with the farmhouse interior's rawness. Elegant, versatile outdoor spaces, expansive views, and seamless integration of architecture and natural systems; the magnicent 'Mountain Farmhouse' is a testament to Flora Distinctive Landscapes' dedication to craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
