This is harmonizing nature with humanity and is serving the beautiful towns of Kremmling, Granby, Grand Lake and beyond. As native as the views are the hardscaping of native stone and fragrant roots of drought-resistant, low water usage, fragrance-filled landscapes that are as much beauty as they are practicality. Granite boulders and segments of flagstone walkways help blend the indoor and outdoor living spaces. A winding flagstone path leads visitors through beds of native wildflowers and ornamental grasses. Each plant was chosen to provide blooming time throughout the seasons. The steep slopes were one of the biggest challenges during this , so a creative grading solution was necessary to encourage drainage and plant health. Our team at Flora Distinctive Landscapes skillfully tackled these challenges with erosion control practices and tall retaining walls to level out the landscape. Topping a list of the Blue Ridge features is a small water feature designed to create a calm environment and draw local wildlife. With all that plus a patio area built with reclaimed wood, it makes the perfect little spot for family get-togethers or a quiet evening under the stars. The result is nothing less than jaw-dropping: a balance of form and function that has impressed the client and beautified the context.
