Landscape design: // Back Yard Areas // Glendale, CA Here is some recent work we completed in Glendale, California featuring our attention to detail and innovative manufacturing at Moda Outdoor Living. No better embodied our purpose of pairing beauty with function than this one. The client requested a peaceful escape that included both social and downtime spaces. In order to accomplish this we built a level paver patio with multiple tiers consisting of premium travertine pavers leaving a low maintenance visually impressive surface that flows with the natural landscape. We designed an outdoor kitchen with custom-made kitchen appliances, with granite, so it can be used for cooking and gathering with family and friends. Another big challenge we had to contend with was the sloping, lumpy lawn at the back. Our experienced team precisely contoured the site, retaining trees where possible to allow outdoor living to blend seamlessly with its natural setting. A professional drainage system was also implemented to channel water away, preventing build-up around the design and protecting both the aesthetics and function of the landscape. We spiced it up with some lush greenery using native plants and ornamental grasses to provide natural beauty while also being sustainable by requiring less water. And the soft landscape lighting that rounds out the detail, casting a warm glow over the space, that it surely must be inviting to linger in the evenings. The result? An outdoor paradise that not only met, but exceeded, our client’s expectations for relaxation and entertaining. Not only does this showcase our meticulous workmanship, but it also embodies the white glove service that our clients have come to expect from Moda Outdoor Living in the Greater Los Angeles area.
